Restarting My Blog with a Special Celebration

It’s been a while since I last wrote here, but I’ve been wanting to bring this blog back—not just to share my jewelry journey, but also personal moments that inspire me. What better way to start than with a special celebration?

Recently, we threw a birthday party for my mother-in-law’s 80th. We rented a party room in her apartment building, and my husband and sister-in-law reached out to her friends and cousins. In the end, 20 people gathered, including our family. Some guests had known her since childhood, while others were reconnecting after years apart. A few were new to me, but everyone was warm and welcoming.

We decorated the room with balloons and garlands, catered food, and simply enjoyed the time together. My mother-in-law, despite turning 80, is full of energy and humor. She looks much younger than her age, and she has always been kind to me. Seeing her surrounded by loved ones reminded me how important it is to celebrate these milestones.

As I looked around the room, I noticed something—every woman there was wearing jewelry. It wasn’t a fancy restaurant or a formal event, yet each piece felt significant in its own way. Jewelry carries stories, memories, and personal meaning. It’s not about the price or the brand, but the connection it holds to moments in life. Seeing that reminded me why I love making jewelry. It’s more than just an accessory—it’s a way to connect with people’s lives, to be a small part of their personal history.

This celebration was a beautiful reminder of the connections we share, and it felt like the perfect way to restart this blog. I’m looking forward to sharing more personal stories, inspirations, and of course, my journey in jewelry making.

Thanks for reading, and see you in the next post!
