I’m excited to introduce my new piece: the 光 (Hikari) necklace. The character 光 means “light,” and in this design, the top right dot transforms into a four-pointed star—symbolizing the light we carry within us.
This idea isn’t just about the necklace; it’s something I’ve held in my heart for a long time. When I was younger, I read a line—maybe in a comic or a novel, I don’t remember exactly—but it stayed with me ever since:
"Don’t complain that you can’t find the light. Have a light inside of you, and the world will see you, no matter where you are."
This thought has been a guide for me. It’s easy to blame circumstances when things don’t go as planned. But instead of waiting for light to come from outside, I remind myself to keep working, keep improving, and not give up. If you nurture your own light, it will shine—regardless of where you are.
That’s the inspiration behind this necklace. It’s a reminder that true light doesn’t just come from the world around us; it comes from within.
